30 DAYS OF GOD’S VICTORY (THE CAVE OF ADULLAM)

THE PREAMBLE

This “30 DAYS DAILY DEVOTIONALS” also called “THE RHEMA WORD FOR TODAY” is The Word of God ministering life to your spirit on each day, which will affect you for a lifetime. The word, “WORD,” means two things in the Greek; ‘The Logos’ and ‘The Rhema’.

The Logos is like a well of water, and the Rhema is like a bucket of water from that well. The Logos is the entire expression of thought, but the Rhema is simply the spoken word; which is a sub-component of ‘Logos’.

The Logos is the entire Word if God, but the Rhema is a portion of the entire Word of God, but the Rhema is a portion of the entire Word of God that speaks directly to your spirit, which revitalises it.

Jesus Christ is addressed as the ‘Logos’ in John 1:1-18. He is the entire Word of God (Rev. 19:13). The Rhema is the ‘word’ that preaches Christ; the Logos (1 Pet. 1:25). The Rhema quickens the spirit by ministering faith (Rom. 10:17; Heb. 11:3). The Rhema can also be signified as the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17).

This season of September Reloaded is themed “THE CAVE OF ADULLAM.” The cave of Adullam in 1 Samuel 22:1-5, was the cave that David hid himself in from Saul’s attack. And we see also that those who were troubled, angry or in debt came to that cave, and sooner, they became warriors. David stayed there till he found out what God wanted him to do.

This ’30 day’s journey’ to God’s victory is like journeying into the cave of Adullam, where we will turn out into warriors and victors. The Rhema Word for each day will address issues in our lives which will make us into unshakable warriors of these last days.
