WOMEN MATTAZ 3

Women Mattaz Part 3: Should Women Remain Silent In Church THEME: SHOULD WOMEN BE SILENT IN CHURCH   In some of our churches, women are not allowed to speak. They make 1 Corinthians 14:34&35 their stand. But I don’t know if they’ve looked at chapter 11 verse 5. I Corinthians 11:5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.   To prophesy, it means to utter words of comfort, encouragement and edification (1 Cor. 14:3). In other words, women in the church in Corinth were ministers of the gospel. So what was Apostle Paul saying in 1 Corinthians 14:34&35? Is he contradicting himself? Apostle Peter wrote in his second epistle to the church that some things which apostle Paul has taught and written were hard to understand and some people twisted it to their own destruction (2 Pet. 3:15-17).   In scriptures, we see women praying among the saints (...

LOVE: A PARAMETER TO MEASURE SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Image
When a child is born, he is expected to grow. If he doesn’t grow, then there’s a problem somewhere that needs a rapid remedy for it. A child only grows when he is still alive, a dead child doesn’t need to grow. So also, a newly saved believer in Christ needs to grow. But it’s so unfortunate that after years of being saved, the church doesn’t care if he is growing or he’s dead. Even the saved believer has been trained that once you’re saved, you start growing whereas there are parameters to measure spiritual growth. That’s why you can see a believer ten years later still struggling with an old habit and still believes that he’s grown enough. Just because you’re saved 10 years ago doesn’t mean you’re growing. In the realm of the spirit, grace is a catalyst used to cause a spontaneous spiritual growth. So you can be 2 years old in the realm of the spirit and you’re more fervent, than a brother who was saved 10 years ago yet no changes in his life. The Bible says that ...

2020 YEAR THEME: REWRITING THE PAST, REBIRTHING THE FUTURE

Image
REWRITING THE PAST, REBIRTHING THE FUTURE Acts 20:20 You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. This year, we won’t hesitate any longer to preach anything that would be helpful to our community (publicly) and our neighbours (house to house). Because this year is the year that will launch the end time revival (the greatest and last revival before the coming of Christ). We must not hesitate any longer because there must be a rewriting of the past and a rebirthing of a brand new future. And we urge you beloved to be more prayerful and more serious to the studying of the scripture. Articles and activities will be guided by our year’s theme, just like others in times past. 2015 TRAMPLE THE DEVIL 2016 SINGLENESS IS A BLESSING 2017 Started a YouTube channel, The Rhema Word For Today series and Telegram group LESSONS FROM MY LITTLE NIECE (#1)  2018 WHAT DOES ...

PROPHETIC WORDS FOR 2020

Image
Jeremiah 30:19 Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving And the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. I declare 2020 a year of thanksgiving. Your voice shall make merry; sound of rejoicing, because the glory of God shall cause a multiplication this season. Go and multiply (Gen. 1:28). Go and rejoice (Phil. 4:4). Psalm 126:1-3 A Joyful Return to Zion A Song of Ascents. When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad. This year is your season. This year is declared your harvest of joy. (Ps. 30:5; Isa. 9:3; Eccl. 3:4). Jeremiah 30:3 For the time is coming when I will restore the fortunes of my people of Israel and Judah. I will bring them hom...

BUILDING A NICHE

Image
We ought to publish THE REALITIES OF THE TRUE LIGHT this season, but there’s a change of plan, and we apologise for that. This season, we’re led to share on BUILDING A NICHE. We pray you’ll be blessed and enlightened in Jesus’ name. Amen. So what does it mean to build a niche? To build a niche is to set a name for oneself. And a name is an identity, a reputation; what people know you for. To build or carve a niche is not to set boundaries for yourself. But the niche which you build will make people to set boundaries for you. To set boundaries is to segregate yourself from people, and you can’t make an impact on your generation. But to build a niche, is to be identified and be known for something. Thus, people set boundaries for you on the things you cannot be identified for. For instance, you can’t go to the ophthalmologist when you have a tooth problem; though both the ophthalmologist and the dentist work in the hospital, but because of the tooth problem, you s...

DAY 30: CAVE OF ADULLAM

Image
THE RHEMA WORD FOR TODAY (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL WITH PREACHER SAM) TOPIC: CAVE OF ADULLAM DATE: 30 SEPTEMBER, 2019 BIBLE READING: 1 SAMUEL 22:1-5 MEDITATION/MEMORY VERSE: PSALM 91:1, 2 (NKJV) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” Caves were frequently used as dwelling places (Num. 24:21) or as a place for retreats (2 Sam. 23:13). Sometimes those who had niches in their sides were occupied as burying-places (Jn. 11:38). The Bible is very meticulous about information. Why did the Bible mention the place where that cave was? Because Adullam; though a Canaanite city, was where the glory of Israel had come. Micah 1:15 I will yet bring an heir to you, O inhabitant of Mareshah; the glory of Israel shall come to Adullam. David escaped for the fear of his life from King Saul and retreated in the cave of Adullam, which the Bible also meti...
