30 DAYS OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS (THE PROMISES OF GOD) INTRODUCTION: God had promised us all things in Christ (2 Cor. 1:20) and now we have them in heavenly places (Eph. 1:3; cf. Ps. 119:89). But why are many of us believers living as though we don’t have the blessings? Why does it look as if the Christian life is a life of bondage? Did God lie to us about His blessings to us? So many questions that can make us doubt the integrity of God’s word. But truly, God is not a man that He should lie, nor is His word full of empty promises (Numb. 23:19; 1 Kings 8:56; Isa. 55:11; Mal. 3:6). He has been judged faithful (Heb. 11:11), His name is faithful (Rev. 21:5). So the problem is not with Him, but with us. The scripture says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
