CHRISTIANS A SOUL WINNERS I

First, let us consider these two words properly: Christian & Soul winner.

·         Christians: Are people who act the way Christ act. It means “Christ like” and this was first used in the church at Antioch which can be found in the book of Acts 11:26. So therefore, Christians are born-again child of God and also an ambassador of Christ; meaning that we represent Christ, so we have to act the way Christ acted, we will discuss more of this some other time later.

·         Soul Winners: Are Christians that win souls for Christ, or reach out the gospel to the lost. As a Christian, we have one compulsory job to do, and that should be our primary focus in life and that is “SOUL WINNING”.

Compulsory Duty to All Christians

There lived a man who was born-again, and loves helping the poor. He lived a righteous life and loves doing the works of God, but he hates winning soul, he always say to himself, ‘Light and darkness doesn’t have anything in common, so the sinners should perish in hell.’ And he lived his life like that until one day, as he was travelling he had a terrible accident which he didn’t survive from it.

At the place of judgment seat of Christ, God told him, ‘You lived a righteous life on earth, but you condemned the sinners instead of saving them from their sins by ministering to them. Their bloods are on you, you’re a murderer, and you allow them to perish without Christ. For this reason, you have no place here in paradise.’ God pointed down wrathfully, ‘Leave here now, for I do not know you!’

Christ came not to condemned the world, but to save those that were lost and as Christians as the name implies ‘Christ Like’, we should act the way Christ acted by winning souls.

Christ gave us a great commission (i.e. great responsibility) to make disciples of all nations. It’s a great responsibility given to all Christians and that should be our primary focus in life.

It’s a compulsory duty to all Christians to win souls for Christ. If you fail to obey that simple commandment Christ gave to us before His ascension, then the sinners’ blood will be on you just like that man in the story. Even the bible says in Ezek. 33:6-9 ‘But if the watchman sees the sword coming and did not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand. “So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.’

 But if you obey, it is vice versa, their blood won’t be on you; His solid promise never fails ‘For I will acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted; for the Lord dwells in Zion.’ Joel 3:21. Meaning that, as you win each soul for Christ, their bloods which were upon you initially will be acquitted from you.

‘GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS!!!’
