1ST SAYING Luke 23:34a Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” SIGNIFICANCE : Jesus, being a man, proved to us that even in our pains we still have the power to forgive our transgressors. And we can see how Stephen Substantiated that at his execution in Acts 7:59-60. Still no one is forgiven against his or her will; each one must respond to God's call for repentance and turn to him for forgiveness (Acts 2:38-39).
